Acetylene black appears as a very fine black powder with a relative density of 1.95 (nitrogen displacement method). The apparent density ranges from 0.2 to 0.3g/cm3. The average particle size is 30-45nm. Specific surface area is 55-70m2/g. The iodine absorption value is 60-80gI2/kg. Acetylene black has a high purity, with a carbon content greater than 99.5%, hydrogen content less than 0.1%, and oxygen content ranging from 0.7% to 0.26%. The pH value is 5-7. Extremely low resistivity, with excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and anti-static effect
The particle size of acetylene black is at a moderate level, with a very high structure and low ash and volatile content, resulting in extremely low electrical resistivity. This product is a very loose fine powder with extremely low apparent density during production. There are three types of products: inherent powder, compressed product, and granulated product.
