9-Fluorenone Usage and Synthetic Method:

9-Fluorenone is an important organic synthesis intermediate, which can be used to manufacture a variety of fine chemicals. It is mainly used in the synthesis of polymer materials, bisphenol fluorene, fluorenyl benzoxazine resin, acrylic resin, polyester, Modifier of polycarbonate and epoxy resin. In the laboratory, fluorene is used as raw material, dimethyl sulfoxide is used as solvent, sodium hydroxide  is used as catalyst, and oxygen is used as oxidant. The tower-packed reactor is used for oxidation reaction. The reaction solution can be cooled and filtered to obtain a content of 93%. Crude fluorenone, the filtrate can be distilled to recover 94% of the solvent and part of the crude fluorenone. Crude fluorenone is refined by directional crystallization to obtain yellow flake fluorenone with a purity of 99.8% or more.
