Characteristics of Hastelloy C-276 wire mesh which dictate its use are:
● One of the most versatile corrosion resistant alloys available.
● Ideal for use in high-temperature, extremely corrosive chemical environments.
● Superior corrosion resistance in broad range of industrial and chemical settings.
● Able to resist corrosion against wet chlorine gas, chlorine dioxide, and hypochlorite.
● Great for use against caustics and hydrochloric acid.
● Excellent for use against pitting & crevice corrosion in chlorides, chloride stress corrosion cracking, and sulphuric acid.
● Resists oxidation up to 1900°F temperatures.
● Max operating temperature of 1800°F.
● Can be cut, formed, and welded.

Hastelloy C-276 wire cloth is principally used in extremely corrosive reducing and oxidizing settings.
