Composition of AS/RS: 
1.Pallet(cargo box): 
equipment used to carry goods, also known as station equipment. 
2.High-rise racking system: 
the steel structure used to store the goods .At present, there are mainly two basic forms of welding shelves and combined shelves.
3.Roadway stacker crane:
 equipment used for automatic access of goods. Two basic forms: single column and double column; straight channel, curve and transfer. 
4.Automatic control system: 
the automatic control system of each equipment driving AS/RS system. At present, the field-bus mode is mainly adopted as the control mode.
5.AGV system: 
namely the automatic guide vehicle. According to its guidance mode is divided into induction guide cart and laser guide cart. 
6.Conveyor system: 
the main peripheral equipment of AS/RS, responsible for transporting the goods to the stacker crane or removing the goods from the stacker crane. There are very many kinds of conveyor, common roller conveyor, chain conveyor, lift platform, distribution cart, lift machine, belt machine and so on. 
7.Inventory Information Management System (WMS):

At present, the typical AS/RS adopts a large database system (such as ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.) to build a typical client server system, which can be connected or integrated with other systems (such as ERP system, etc.).
