Palmitoyl tripeptide-5 promotes the growth of skin cells, inhibits oxygen free radicals and hydroxyl free radicals, promotes the synthesis of matrix proteins, especially collagen, and may also increase the production of elastin, hyaluronic acid, glycosaminoglycan and fibronectin.
