If you need to replace the switch for your electric blanket, here are some general steps you can follow:
Unplug the electric blanket from the power outlet to ensure safety.
Locate the switch that needs to be replaced. This is usually located on the controller of the electric blanket.
Carefully remove the switch from the controller by either unscrewing it or gently prying it out with a small flathead screwdriver.
Take note of how the wires are connected to the switch before removing them. You can take a photo or make a diagram to help you remember the placement of the wires.
Disconnect the wires from the old switch by either unscrewing them or gently pulling them off.
Connect the wires to the new Electric Blanket Switches in the same way they were connected to the old switch. Be sure to connect each wire to the correct terminal.
Once the wires are connected to the new switch, carefully place the switch back into the controller and screw it in or snap it back into place.
Test the switch to make sure it is working properly by plugging the electric blanket back into the power outlet and turning it on.
Note: If you are not comfortable working with electrical components, it is best to seek the assistance of a professional electrician.
